Description
Definition. The Investor Tool frames Bitcoin's macro cycle position using two long-horizon reference levels: the 2-year (730-day) moving average of price (green) and a 5x multiple of that same average (pink), plotted over price (black).
Technical. The two bands are constructed as follows:
Lower Band = sma(Price, 730)(green)Upper Band = 5 x sma(Price, 730)(pink)
Interpretation. The tool follows the 2-Year MA Multiplier framework popularized by LookIntoBitcoin: phases where price has traded below the 2-year moving average have historically corresponded to deep-value accumulation zones near cycle lows, while excursions above the 5x multiple have coincided with late-stage euphoria around cycle tops. Between the bands lies the bulk of Bitcoin's trading history, so the chart is best read as a slow-moving cycle compass rather than a timing signal. Because the multiplier is fixed at 5x, the upper band embeds the historical scale of past bull markets; as market size grows and cycle amplitude compresses, price may top out progressively further below the upper band.
