Technical. Exchange-labelled addresses are excluded from both the contract supply and the total supply used as the denominator. The total supply is the sum of all address balances, so it can differ from Circulating Supply. For ETH, the balance of the beacon chain deposit contract is included. For ETH tokens, burn addresses are excluded.
