Definition. The total number of unique addresses that ever appeared in a transaction of the native coin in the network. Number of New Addresses is the per-interval counterpart, and Number of Addresses with a Non-Zero Balance counts only addresses that currently hold funds.

Technical. Addresses stay counted after their balance returns to zero. For ETH tokens, burn addresses are excluded.
