Definition. The percentage of transfer volume in profit, the share of transferred coins whose price at creation time was lower than the current price. Total Transfer Volume in Profit and Total Transfer Volume in Loss are the absolute counterparts.

Technical. Spent outputs with a lifespan of less than an hour are discarded. For assets other than BTC, profit and loss are determined per address against its average acquisition price (address-based approach). For BTC, ETH and ETH tokens, change is removed; for DOGE, TON, TRX and XRP, all transfers are counted. For ETH tokens, burn addresses are excluded.

Interpretation. Readings above 50% mean the day's spent volume is profit-dominated, readings below 50% mean it is loss-dominated.
