Definition. The number of transactions on the Ethereum network that are vanilla transactions. Vanilla transactions are pure ETH transfers between Externally Owned Accounts (EOAs), with no contracts being called.

Technical. If at least one of the EOAs participating in the transaction (the receiver, the sender, or both) belongs to an exchange, the transaction is represented in the exchange cohort. Occasionally the value of the last datapoint can change slightly as some addresses initially transact as "vanilla" before their associated smart-contract deployment is observed.
