Definition. The share of transactions in the Ethereum network that call ERC-20 contracts. ERC-20 Tokens Transactions (Absolute) is the absolute counterpart.

Technical. Stablecoin contracts are excluded. Only top-level transactions are counted, assigned by their recipient address, and failed transactions are included. Token calls made inside other contracts are not counted, and transactions to contracts also labelled as exchange, bridge, DeFi, MEV bot or NFT are assigned to those categories instead.
