Definition. Taproot Adoption quantifies the degree of Taproot adoption on the Bitcoin network. Adoption is inspired by the community-established way of measuring SegWit adoption: it relates the number of transactions that spend at least one Taproot input to the overall number of transactions. The Taproot utilization metric is a more granular companion view, defined as the number of spent Taproot inputs relative to the overall number of spent inputs.
