Definition. The total number of internal smart contract calls on the Ethereum network, i.e. contract calls initiated by other contracts (internal transactions). Total Number of Contract Calls (External) is the external counterpart.

Technical. Only successful transactions are counted. Every call type between two contracts (call, delegatecall, staticcall and callcode) is counted.
