The total amount of tokens that have been minted and exist on-chain across supported networks. Unlike circulating supply metrics, this metric captures the complete on-chain supply without excluding locked, vested, or otherwise restricted tokens. It provides a comprehensive view of all tokens that have been created on the blockchain, regardless of their current accessibility or transferability status. This metric is available for all supported tokens and includes both per-network breakdowns and an aggregated cross-chain total.
This is the Point-in-Time (PiT) variant of Total Minted Supply. PiT metrics are strictly append-only and their history is immutable. The historic data does not necessarily reflect the best current knowledge, but the information at the time when a data point was first computed. PiT metrics are ideal candidates for applications in model backtesting and related quantitative purposes. Read our article on PiT metrics for more information.
