Definition. The circulating supply in loss, i.e. the amount of coins whose price at creation time was higher than the current price. Total Supply in Profit is the profit counterpart.

Technical. For BTC, each UTXO is valued at its creation price. Other assets use an address-based approach, where each address's full balance is compared at its average acquisition price. For BNB, DOGE, SOL, TON, TRX and XRP, prices are bucketed to a price grid, and addresses whose cost basis falls in the same bucket as the current price count as neither in profit nor in loss. For ETH and ETH tokens, contract addresses are excluded, and for ETH tokens, burn addresses are also excluded.
