Spot Selling Volume Intraday measures the aggregate trading volume in which the seller was the aggressor, focusing on the native asset against USD-related currencies (both fiat and stablecoins). This volume is calculated within a specific intraday time frame, determined by your chosen data resolution (e.g., hourly, 10-minute intervals).
You can view this metric for individual exchanges or as an aggregate total across exchanges.
This is the Point-in-Time (PiT) variant of Spot Selling Volume. PiT metrics are strictly append-only and their history is immutable. The historic data does not necessarily reflect the best current knowledge, but the information at the time when a data point was first computed. PiT metrics are ideal candidates for applications in model backtesting and related quantitative purposes. Read our article on PiT metrics for more information.
