Definition. BTC Dominance (Bitcoin Dominance) is Bitcoin's market capitalization expressed as a percentage of the total market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies.

Technical. Calculated by dividing Bitcoin's market cap by the total cryptocurrency market cap. The metric is updated daily at 10:15 UTC, providing the previous day's data point at this time.

Interpretation. Higher readings indicate capital is concentrated in Bitcoin, while lower readings indicate capital is distributed across altcoins and stablecoins.
