Definition. Average Spent Output Lifespan (ASOL) is the average age, in days, of spent transaction outputs.

Technical. Computed count-weighted across spent outputs, not weighted by coin volume. Outputs with a lifespan of less than one hour are discarded.

This is the Point-in-Time (PiT) variant of ASOL. PiT metrics are strictly append-only and their history is immutable. The historic data does not necessarily reflect the best current knowledge, but the information at the time when a data point was first computed.
