Chart description
Periods of high network activity and blockspace congestion usually result in upwards pressure on transaction fees. This metric calculates a 4-year rolling Z-Score to identify periods of elevated, and low fee market regimes, and provides a statistical measurement of on-chain congestion.
Elevated Fee Pressure 🔴 will return a positive Z-Score, signalling the fee market is experiencing above average upwards pressure relative to the last 4-years.
Low Fee Pressure 🔵 will return a negative Z-Score, signalling the fee market is experiencing below average upwards pressure relative to the last 4-years.
